Mia is the Project Manager for Trusted Tap, where she supports an interdisciplinary, multi-institutional team on a project focused on advancing a new approach for monitoring drinking water quality. Prior to joining the Center for the Environment in 2025, Mia worked at a nonprofit focused on civic education, supporting young people in becoming informed and active participants in our democracy. She has experience in direct youth work, curriculum and teacher professional development, as well as school district partnerships. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and recently completed the Climatebase Fellowship, an industry-oriented educational program focused on accelerated learning in climate and sustainability sectors.
