How WashU is advancing research, education, and partnerships
At this year’s Climate Week NYC, the Center for the Environment and University Advancement brought together more than 100 WashU alumni, parents, and friends for a panel that showcased how WashU is advancing research, education, and partnerships to address the climate crisis.
This panel and ediscussion highlighted the exciting, critical work being done by Bronwen Konecky, Heather Navarro, Linda Samuels, and Phil Valko. By bringing this team WashU staff and faculty to New York, the Center was able to deepen connections and expand opportunities for impact.
In addition to a impressive turnout from New York-area alumni, the panel brought together alumni and WashU parents from across the country who were in New York for Climate Week.
These committed alumni are making valuable contributions to climate change mitigation through their professional lives.
