Share Our Stuff is WashU’s annual move-out collection drive. This year, the Office of Sustainability is piloting a Share Our Stuff winter collection drive. Students graduating, going abroad or simply tidying up can donate usable goods instead of throwing them away. These goods can be reused within our campus community through the Circularity Center and by people and organizations in the St. Louis area.
Share Our Stuff is hosting a sorting day to organize the donations we receive and refresh the stock at the Circularity Center. We expect to sort through lots of clothes and small household items. In addition, volunteers will help refresh the clothes bins currently at the Circularity Center.
In return for their time, volunteers will have first pick to take home choice items they discover during sorting (up to 5 lbs per hour volunteered). This is a great opportunity to refresh your wardrobe!
Volunteers may also bring their own items to drop off at the event.
