Kevin Hahn-Petruso is a program manager for the Center for the Environment where he supports cross-school collaboration among researchers, manages the Center’s communications as well as supporting the Center’s Internal Advisory Council and Council of Partners. Prior to joining WashU in 2022, he worked as the Policy Manager for Trailnet, a St. Louis-based sustainable transportation nonprofit, where he led advocacy initiatives and coalitions focused on safety for people walking, biking, and using transit. Kevin has a master’s degree in energy environment and society from the University of Stavanger (Norway) and a bachelor’s in political science from Quincy University (Illinois). Kevin has a background in nonprofit management, communications, and development. He began his career in state government and public engagement, working as a staffer in the Illinois State Senate.
